GST exemption extended to private player of satellite launch services same as available for ISRO, ACL and NSIL
50th GST council meeting was conducted on 11th July 2023, where many changes have been proposed under GST.
One of the proposals was to extend GST exemption on satellite launch services supplied by ISRO, Antrix Corporation Limited and New Space India Limited (NSIL)
The council has been decided that GST exemption on satellite launch services supplied by ISRO, Antrix Corporation Limited and New Space India Limited (NSIL) may be extended to such services supplied by organisations in private sector also to encourage start ups.
