Appointment of Members of 16th Finance Commission
The following order made by the President is to be published for general information: —
In pursuance of clause (1) of article 280 of the Constitution read with the provisions of the Finance Commission (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1951 (33 of 1951), the President is pleased to appoint following as Members of the Sixteenth Finance Commission, namely

- The Chairman and other members of the Commission shall hold office from the date on which they respectively assume office up to the date of submission of Report or 31st day of October, 2025, whichever is earlier.
- 3. This order is in continuation of the Notification No. S.O.5533 (E) dated 31.12.2023 with respect to constitution of Sixteenth Finance Commission.
