CBIC extended due date for filing GSTR-3B & GST Payment under QRMP Scheme for April – 2022
Taxpayer was facing issue for filing GSTR3B Return for the month of April 2022 as data on GST portal in Form GSTR-2B and auto populated data in form GSTR-3B was not updated correctly on time due to technical glitches on Portal. Hence considering the ongoing issue, CBIC extended due date for filing GSTR-3B Return and payment of GST for the month of April-2022.
CBIC vide Notification number 05/2022 – Central Tax dated 17th may 2022 extended due date for filing GSTR-3B return for the month of April 2022 till 24th may 2022.
Similarly CBIC Vide Notification number 06/2022 – Central Tax dated 17th May 2022 also extended due date for payment of GST for those taxpayers who are under QRMP scheme and filing quarterly Return.
