Government Increases GST rate from 5% to 12% on textiles, footwear and others
The GST Council’s 45th meeting was held on 17th September, 2021 in Lucknow under the chairmanship of the Union Finance & Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. The GST Council has inter-alia made the recommendations relating to changes in GST rates on supply of goods and services.
GST concessional rate on Covid drugs extended from 30th September 2021 to 31st December 2021. Whereas GST rate changes are made for the other goods and services as per the recommendation of the GST Council.
