New way to check Income Tax Refund without login at e-filing portal
Recently income tax department introduces new functionality “Know Your Refund Status” at income tax e-filing portal, which allow the taxpayer to check their income tax refund status without login at e-filing portal.
The status can be checked with the minimal detail like PAN number and phone number. To check the refund status you just need to go to the income tax e-filing portal https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/
Then from quick Links on home page you can find option of “Know Your Refund Status”, click on that then you will be redirected to next page https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/know-refund-status/user-information which will allow to enter PAN number, Assessment Year and mobile phone number, enter these details and continue to verify with otp and then you can see your Income Tax Refund Status.
