SEZ Act to be replaced with new legislation to enhance the competitiveness of exports
As per the recent tweet of the WIONews, says the SEZ (Special Economic Zones) Act will be replaced with new legislation for the development of enterprises and hubs. It will cover the existing industrial enclaves and enhance the competitiveness of exports.
Reforms in Customs Administration of SEZs to be introduced
To be fully IT driven and function on Customs National Portal with focus on higher facilitation
This will considerably ease doing business by SEZ units
